MOPLIP THEATRE
Pinniped & Other Poems
Presented as a part of the 34th Edmonton International Fringe Theatre Festival and Nextfest 2015
The play is an amalgamation of experimental theatre, art show, and dance piece. Pinniped, and Other Poems revolves around a man taking on the appearance of a walrus, and the manifest creatures of his imagined past and future that haunt him.
As he ages, J. R. Morse sprouts tusks and whiskers. In preparing to accept an award for a book of love poems he did not write, he navigates the fog of his memories and dreams, attempting to reconcile love and logic.
